And just like everything else we create, these guys are stunningly beautiful and designed to be repurposed. Bud vase, anyone?

If you're new to the world of reed diffusers, here are four common questions we get:

How much oil should I pour into the vessel?
Go a little crazy and pour it all in! The oil will slowly travel up the reeds and release into the air, and should last about 3-4 months. Check on the oil level from time to time. When it looks low, it’s time to order an oil refill (available at standardwax.com)!

This thing is strong! I don’t think I can handle it.
Our diffusers come with eight reeds, and pro tip, you don’t have to use them all! Depending on the size of your room, you might want to pull a few reeds out. Fewer reeds means the diffuser won’t be as strong! Play around with it and find what works for your space.

Oh no. The oil is gone! What do I do now?
You have a couple of options, friend, and they’re both great! Do you still want your house to smell so good that everyone who crosses your threshold exlaims, “WOW IT SMELLS SO WONDERFUL IN HERE!!”? Cool, you can order an oil refill at standardwax.com. You can choose a new scent, or stick with what you love. We’ll send you a brand new bottle of oil, plus new reeds.

Or, if you’re at a place in your life where your scent needs are being met (probably because you have so many of our candles hanging out in your home) you can use your diffuser container as a gorgeous bud vase.

Anything else I need to know?
Yes. You have fantastic taste and all of your friends think you’re totally cool. But also, try to flip the reeds every week or two to keep the fragrance fresh!
