Where do you live? I’m currently based in Phoenix AZ

Why do you create?
I create because I can’t live without it. I was born with a purpose and I feel it was to bring beauty into this world.

How do you bring art into your everyday?
I like to think that every moment can be constructed as a piece of art. The way you decorate yourself, your interactions and relationships, the way you pour your cup of coffee. Every tiny moment can be so beautiful and intentional. That intentionality is art to me.

What gets you super excited about life?
Discovery. I love constantly being surprised by new ideas, creators, places and experiences. If I can experience something new that shifts my frame of thought daily and keeps me on my toes that really sparks joy in me.

Do you have a favorite artist? If so, who and why?
Gosh, that’s like choosing a favorite type of food. One isn’t better than the other, they're all great! I’m really inspired by my peers though. Everyone that’s participating in what I like to call the Soft Modern movement. I look to design authorities like Sight Unseen to see what my colleagues are up to.

What’s your favorite place to get inspired?
It’s not a place per se but multiple places. I love to travel and try to do so often. I look for inspiration with every new location.

What inspired the design for your Standard Wax label?
We worked to incorporate the upcoming winter tone with my signature vintage desert style. I love collaborating with other small businesses and designers because you end up coming up with an idea that you never would have thought of before.

What’s something unique about your work that people won’t see anywhere else? My work spans a wide range of mediums, including textiles, murals, jewelry, art prints and sculpture. Where as many designers take one successful image and print it onto everything possible I never repeat my designs. Each item gets its own unique image.

Favorite City? Tokyo!

Favorite Restaurant? Five Leaves in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Favorite Museum? Tate Modern
