Tempe Leadership is a local organization dedicated to bringing together community-minded individuals to engage and challenge one another, learn more about the ins and outs of Tempe, and most importantly, make a real difference in the community. Tempe leadership alumni are well-respected on local boards, commissions, routinely serve elected office, and volunteer time and energy to the community.
As a member of Tempe Leadership’s Class 33, I’m helping fundraise for our class project: designing and building a sensory garden for the members of The Centers for Habilitation. Their mission is finding creative and innovative ways to provide hope and purpose for adults with disabilities, and this sensory garden will certainly help drive that mission forward!
100% of the profits from this workshop will go toward the project, and I’m excited to be able to contribute to its success in a small way.
