As the spring equinox approaches, you best believe we are setting intention, cleansing our space, and fully leaning into our spirit. Before we add a million tasks to our spring cleaning to-do lists, we’re gonna start with a meditation break.
Adding a 10 minute meditation break to your calendar is a great way to remind yourself that you are worth it. Many of us work from home nowadays and it’s so easy to get caught up in the chaos as you take the few steps to your office.
If you are a leader, boss, or the person who makes the schedule, encouraging your team to pause for 10 minutes to refocus is a simple task that goes a long way. No matter the work environments, we’re sharing a few tips to get you in the meditation mood!
Three easy tips to set yourself up for a meditation break.
Find a cozy space.
Maybe that’s away from your computer or simply shutting down your screen. Lighting a candle is an easy way to set the vibe for your meditation break. Choose a platform.
There are many different platforms that you can use as your meditation tool. Our favorites are Calm and Headspace; two apps you can download to your phone that include daily meditations and a complete library to take your mindfulness practice to new heights.
If you’re into working out, Obe Fitness is not only a platform of 1000s of workout videos with the most inspirational instructors, but they also include mindful meditations. You’ll meet some of your new favorite people via your computer screen (trust us.)
Join a Focus Session. This one not only includes a meditation session but also time to work with others to focus on getting your work tasks done. One of our favorite projects in the past was creating a candle for the team at Focus. We delivered their members a candle featuring our Focus blend of Eucalyptus and Sage to truly light up their senses while they focused.
